Cut Resistant Clothing in Short Track Speed Skating

    Our company produces Cut Resistant Clothing in Short Track Speed Skating according to International Skating Union (ISU) Communication No.1159, ISU Special Regulation for Short Track Speed skating Rule 280 and 294.

    All participants in Short Track Speed Skating know and understand that the sport involves risks and danger of injury, including cuts and puncture wounds, particularly those resulting from a collision or fall. ISU has commissioned a study of fabric standards for competition clothing/uniforms for Short Track Speed Skating including a medical assessment. The study identified the special areas of risk include neck, groin, axillar region, gluteal region, lower arms, hands, back and front of the knees. Non-compliance with the requirement after July 1, 2003 will result in a refusal to enter the Skater(s) into the respective competitions of ISU and may result in sanctions against the Skater and/or Member.

    Our cut resistant skating clothing is made up of outer layer and inner layer. Using special techniques, its outer layer and inner layer are woven at the same time. The basic material of outer layer is Dyneema Super fiber. Tested in line with Europe Standard EN388, its Cut Index is superior to 5.94, higher than 5.94 the mean Cut Index required by ISU. Its comfortable inner layer, warm-keeping layer, is woven of far infrared fibers. Ceramics particulate in far infrared fabric can reflect about 80% far infrared ray remitted by human body, which can increase the volume of blood flow in capillary and reduce fatigue. To provide the maximum freedom and the maximum elasticity, Lycra fiber is added in fabric. By special order, we can also manufacture protective clothing using Coolmax technical fiber as inner layer.

    Our major cut resistant products include: cut resistant jacket, cut resistant trousers, cut resistant shorts, cut resistant neck guard, cut resistant shin guard, cut resistant knee guard, cut resistant arm guard, cut resistant gloves. The nonsewing cut resistant skating clothing is composed of cut resistant trousers, cut resistant jacket and cut resistant neck guard, which provide skater with the whole cut resistant protection according to ISU regulations.
